I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Serious Development in Jan 2025
Interview
I went through an interview process that lasted over 2 months. The process included multiple rounds: an initial recruiter screen, HR interview, technical assessment, and a final conversation with the CEO. The lack of communication and delays were frustrating.
Each stage took about 2 weeks to move forward, with silence in between. Given the extensive time commitment, I expected a more professional and transparent process. Instead, I was left unsure whether they were still considering my application or moved on.
If you're applying here, be prepared for a slow process and lack of timely responses. The way this process has been handled made it a disappointing experience. I would recommend you ask upfront about the timeline and hold them accountable for clear communication.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about my experience, projects, responsibilities.
Technical questions were focused on the framework, testing, the way things work behind the scenes, compilation and rendering processes, system design / application architecture.
The CEO asked the same questions as in the HR call which was recorded, pretending not to remember some parts but it seemed like he was verifying whether I told the truth.
