I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sentinel Real Estate Corp. (New York, NY) in Dec 2013
Interview
Applied through a recruiter. He got back to me after one month. Two rounds of interviews (a Thursday and the following Monday) with the direct supervisor as well as the department manager. They were both very friendly and trying to identify a good fit. They were mostly looking for someone who was a self starter and had an interest in real estate.
Though most of the discussion was about the company, office, and responsibilities, I was asked a couple of very minor technical questions in the first round. I was unsure of one of them, but was then told knowing them was not required and more of a 'bonus' if I did. Additionally, I was asked to discuss my previous experiences.
The recruiter informed me three hours after my second interview that I would be receiving the offer. It may be worth noting that I asked the hiring process be sped up due to the fact I had another offer in the table when they reached out to me.

Question 1
-What is economic rent?
-What is the basic formula for DCF?
Two interviews, very easy. Management doesn't care about who it hires. It just wants warm bodies to fill the many empty cubicles at the main office. Besides, turnover is so frequent that the newest hire will likely be gone in 1-2 years.
