Quick process. I had a phone call with the hiring manager on a Friday and was asked to come in the following week for an in person interview. I gave a presentation on the following Tuesday and then was offered the position on Wednesday. This was one of the smoothest interview processes I have been through in many years.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What were some of the challenges you faced in your project and how did you overcome them?
As if the job market wasn't bad enough...
12/24/25 - Applied on company website
2026:
02/02 - Reached out to HR on Linkedin to follow up, she starts setting up 1st interview
02/04 - 30 min interview with Finance.
HR follows up to start setting up a 2.5 onsite working session/case study.
I ask a lot of follow up questions as its a big chunk of time and I work full time.
02/09 - HR finally replies, and we go back and forth trying to set up a time.
We are able to find a time after I get out of work (or else I might've just not done it).
02/11 - 2 interviews and a case study, this took about 3 hours.
02/12 - HR passes the thank you note along to the team I met with and says feedback would be given to me 1-1.5 weeks later.
02/23 - HR asks if I'm free to jump on a call for the final step.
02/26 - Call with HR that turns out to be another interview (which I was not aware of) after asking, I'm told they're going to make a decision in about 2 weeks.
03/13 - Follow up with HR
03/23 - Follow up with HR again
After spending a total of almost 4 hours interviewing with them, I got ghosted. Not even a "We've gone with another candidate" or any response at all, super disrespectful and unprofessional.
