Interview
Was more of a conversational interview and the questions they asked were more about leadership and past experiences. Such as what you did at a previous job or what you were doing in school.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Selective Insurance (Glastonbury, CT) in Feb 2019
Interview
Applied and received a call within a week. Instead of hiring me for an internship they wanted me to take an aptitude test so they could hire me right after I got my Masters. I asked if this would effect me for the internship to gain the experience and they said no. After I took the test it they said they would call within a day, but took well over a week. Didn't do well on the test and lost the job and the internship. I was told get more experience and apply again even though the internship would have given me the experience. I'm shocked they lied to me about the safety in gaining employment even as an intern if I didn't do well on the test. Don't recommend working here as it was very unprofessional.
