First two rounds of the interview were fine and I showcased some of my projects to proceed to the third round. I was then asked to do a machine learning design task which took about 5 hours to prep for. The feedback from the interview didn’t explain well enough on why I was rejected, and the interviewees expected me to be an expert in ml which isn’t possible after only a few hours of prep. I think showcasing your portfolio is a sufficient enough way to show your capabilities as a designer, rather than wasting our time doing a task.
