I was told the position was already filled/no longer existed and that the opening would be taken down. Months later, the posting is still up, and they are still actively searching for a candidate. I would have rather gotten an honest rejection than being lied to. Was it discrimination? Was it just a poor HR strategy? Glad to not work for a company that lies to candidates.
