I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Scribe in Jul 2023
Interview
Recruiter chat to understand the company more followed by hiring manager round to talk more about engineering culture and teams. FE tech screen was straightforward and more like a pairing session. Onsite was more behavioral and product focused. Overall, long but great process because I got to talk to so many people. Everyone was genuine and passionate about their work, so it seemed like a great culture fit from the start.

Very efficient and fair. Scheduling was painless and I felt like the questions asked were reasonable. Had a manager interview, behavioral, coding session, and a technical presentation to a group.

Question 1
What are some trade offs you made when designing this system? How would you improve it if given more time?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scribe in Oct 2023
Interview
Recruiter phone screen with a very polite recruiter to go over past experience, salary expectations, and the interview loop. Non-tech interview with the VP of the organization in question. Technical interview with a senior engineer (exercise involving building a React app in coderpad - not leetcode). Product Owner panel interview with various behavioral questions, another review of experience, etc. I declined to move forward after this round - was put off by the questions and lack of professionalism from the product team.
