I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scouting America in Dec 2011
Interview
interviews will vary based upon the size of the council you are looking at. a council with only a few professionals, you may only need to meet the Scout Executive. But a larger council may include an initial interview with one field director, then a secondary interview with the other field directors and a tertiary interview with either the scout executive or the director of field services.

Question 1
Where do you see yourself in the company down the line?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Scouting America (Milwaukee, WI) in Jun 2016
Interview
Interview was fairly easy, some general customer service questions, meet with the local council CEO, meet with your district chairman and Commissioner. Aside from that it's just a standard onboarding interview process. If you truly want the job and you are qualified (graduated from a college with a 4 year degree in something) you shouldn't have any issues with the interview.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Scouting America (Atlanta, GA) in Sept 2015
Interview
1st interview was with front line supervisors, 2nd with director and 3rd with CEO. Application was similar to filling out an SF-86 for a federal background. Interviews were very friendly. The whole process took over a month. They may contact people in your community as well they should, to see if you have the right reputation and disposition for this job which can be high profile.
