It would be useful if you could provide me with further details or a copy of the job spec which was provided to you. We have now parted company with the Director of E-Commerce who also served as COO for 16 months during 2017 and 2018. The share of our total business transacted online declined significantly during his period of his tenure, but is now recovering. If you would like to re-apply for a senior e-commerce role, I would be pleased to review your application and invite you in for interview if appropriate. We are due to roll out extended ranges on our websites using a proven EDI platform over the next three months. We are also within a month of launching an online loyalty program which has been in development for the past 18 months. In preparation for these launches our immediate priority is to improve site navigation and the user experience. We also need to ensure the accuracy of all data held on our websites. We do have a number of senior opportunities in e-commerce but are looking for individuals who have at least 5 years experience in an e-commerce environment and who favour a pragmatic, results-driven approach to online. marketing and merchandising . ROI is the great leveller as it cuts through all the BS which is prevalent in digital marketing.
