Interview
I applied on Indeed; I was immediately emailed back to pick my virtual interview slot. This seemed a bit off, but I figured I would play ball. I selected my interview slot and studied for the role; when I logged into Indeed, I saw that my interview slot was actually a queue, and I was in fact one of seven hundred applicants for a large hiring event. My actual interview was almost an hour late, and to call it an interview is pretty generous. After my hour long wait in the queue, I was connected with the rep from Scott's Miracle Gro; they spent maybe two minutes asking me generic questions before sending me a link with the same application that I had already filled out on Indeed. At this point I was already angry with the wasted time, but I filled out the application in good faith on the off-chance that I would get anything back.
Of course, I just recieved the email that they had decided to turn me down in favor of more experienced individuals; I would almost call that fair but for the fact that I managed two retail stores as a buyer, and had to merchandise products and build extensive planograms day by day.
Overall, a massive waste of time from start to finish, and I wasn't impressed.

Very easy over the phone, call was under 15 minutes. Mainly went over job responsibilities and my skills. Then I received an offer and accepted. Don’t be scared just be yourself and answer honestly

Received an email about setting up an interview via Indeed. Choose a 30-minute time frame. Received a text to click to start interview morning of interview. A few minutes before the interview clicked on text and was put in a que. Was the 8th person in the que. Waited 30 minutes on my lunch break and went back to my full-time job but kept that que open. After 2 hours received a message “done”. My past jobs I have had the pleasure of setting up and doing interviews. Never have I experienced doing or performing interviews such unprofessional and lack of courtesy doing an interview.
