Did not move forward. The process was respectful but emphasized implementation details over problem-solving.
Suggestion:
Consider a short, time-limited exercise with live discussion to better evaluate candidates' thinking and communication skills.

Question 1
The task was to build a command-line tool in Python that transfers files or directories using rsync, supports multiple concurrent transfers with bandwidth control, and displays progress bars for each transfer.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Scopio Labs (Tel Aviv-Yafo)
Interview
Weak questions, didn't know what they were talking about. Interviewer turned me off the idea of working there since they didn't have a basic knowledge of the job themselves.
