Interview
I interviewed with a couple of supervisors for a month-to-month contract position. I basically spoke with them for about 40 minutes, left my resume and portfolio, and that was it. I was offered the gig a couple of weeks later. I contracted for 3 months before offered full-time position. Nothing formal took place, as Human Resources is based in 700 miles away. Hiring freelancers became the norm rather than the exception shortly after I was hired.
