I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Savvy Bridal (Saint Louis, MO) in Feb 2025
Interview
I hopped on a quick call with the Store Manager- she asked a few questions about my work experience and my interest in bridal fashion. We then scheduled a time for me to come and shadow a stylists appointment, to make I would feel comfortable leading in that type of environment. This was helpful as someone who had never been to a bridal appointment before. I was there for an hour and a half (the length of one appointment). Then, the manager asked me if I felt as though I could lead an appointment. It was nice that the interview process had a look into the role itself.
Interview process was extremely informal. First interview was over the phone and probably less than 5 minutes. Second interview was in person at the store. The interviewer seemed pretty disinterested, so I was quite surprised when I got to the next round of shadowing in-store. The "shadow day" is also part of the interview where you are evaluated for your attitude, personality, and ability to get along with the team.

Interview
I was called a few days after submitting my application. The interview is just a chat with the store manager, she's extremely informal. Other employees were also sitting in the room during the interview.
At the end of the interview they asked me to come shadow on a Saturday - I would consider that day as part of the interview process. You'll have to sign an NDA. This may not always be the case, but I felt like I was working that day, I was definitely not just observing - but it's unpaid.
