I had a disappointing experience with the interview process at this company.
I initially applied through a referral and was contacted for an interview. The first round was scheduled within a few days, but on the day of the interview, no interviewer joined the meeting for over 20 minutes. After reaching out myself, I was informed that the interviewer was on leave. It was surprising that this was not communicated in advance.
Rescheduling the interview required multiple follow-ups from my side, which made the process feel unorganized.
During the rescheduled interview, the experience did not improve. The interviewer appeared to be taking the call from a desk in a noisy environment, with frequent background disturbances. There were also interruptions from colleagues, which made the interaction feel unprofessional. Communication was difficult, and I had to repeatedly ask questions to be clarified due to poor audio conditions.
Although I tried to answer most questions to the best of my ability, the overall interaction felt rushed and lacked seriousness. The process seemed more like a formality than a genuine evaluation.
After the interview, I had to follow up multiple times to receive an update, and eventually received a rejection.
Overall, the interview process felt poorly managed and lacking professionalism. I would recommend better coordination, communication, and a more structured interview environment to improve candidate experience.
