I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Saratoga Homes (Pflugerville, TX) in Dec 2023
Interview
The interview was not transparent. I was contacted for an interview and was never told it was a group interview. The HR person began a presentation saying that training was 21 days 8-5 with no days off, everyone works Saturday-Monday, and they were hiring for positions much farther than advertised. Not sure what else as I excused myself from the remainder of the interview at that point. At no point was anyone asked to introduce themselves. Felt very icky.
It was what we in the business industry call a cattle call. Turned out to be a group interview and no candidate suspected it would be that way. They didn’t even take the time to know our names or even read our resumes. It was a disrespectful and lazy way for hiring people. To me, that means you have no idea what you are looking for in a candidate and you’re just hoping to get breathing bodies in the position as soon as possible. After they said it was a $30,000 base pay I just walked out because I could no longer tolerate the disappointment and dehumanizing structure of the company.

Interview
Group interview with no interest in skill set but rather finding out whose willing to agree to their ridiculous work environment. They sit you in a room with other people and tell you about their modern day slave like work environment.
