I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Santa Monica Seafood (Los Angeles, CA) in Sept 2024
Interview
I will give this company some grace because the entire interview process (the time from the application submission to the offer letter emails) was less than a couple of weeks and the people seemed nice. The interviewers asked very detailed questions and they were very engaging, so it seemed like they were very interested in the skillset and personality. The final interview went well and HR contacted me to tell me that I had been chosen to start. Then they emailed me saying that they would send a finalized offer letter the following business day. A couple of days passed and I was told that the managers had a quick meeting and decided that they didn't need the position anymore. I can't get even excited about doing well on a final interview anymore. This isn't the first company that did this and it probably won't be the last.

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Santa Monica Seafood (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2019
Interview
Typical interview process. Phone interview, then face to face, then meet and greet. Quick on-boarding. Lots of nice people. Phone interview was 1 on 1, but face to face was a series of panel interviews (more like a series of panel conversations). It was a long and involved day, but kept right on moving along.
