This was the worst interview experience I’ve had to date.
The interview was unprofessional and disorganized from the start. The hiring manager showed lack of engagement. At one point, he muted his microphone and began chatting with a colleague who walked by while I was responding to a question on camera. There were no structured or thoughtful questions just asking stuff on my resume and try to nit-pick answers. For example, if I say "I believe that ____", the manager would immediately say "why? so?" in a dismissive manner.
The current co-op student was also there and when I asked what the most rewarding part of their role was, they struggled to come up with an answer and didn’t seem enthusiastic about their experience at the company.
For a company as large as Sanofi, I thought they would professional and have respect for candidates. This experience left me with a very negative impression and made it clear that I would not be interested in working there.
