Interview
Tracked down open position in my area. Found a way to find out hiring manager’s name. Called him directly and asked for an interview. He was FLOORED. Initiative goes a LONNNNG way in getting a sales job….a long way in LIFE. I met with him 2 days later (was one of 15 candidates). I received a call request wing a second interview at headquarters in 1 week that would require 3-4 hours of my time, 30 mins of that time should be spent giving a formal presentation to a panel on the drug I would be the lead sales rep for. Did all of that…was called that evening with my offer. Began first day the following Monday.
