I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sanofi (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2017
Interview
An HR staff emailed me to schedule a phone interview that was to be conducted by another Sanofi senior recruiter. I responded within an hour to confirm my availability, phone number and ask for a different time that was just 30 mins later than the time suggested. HR emailed back the day of, just 3 hours before to confirm the time and interview. Interview time came and I received no phone call. They stood me up for the phone interview! Emailed HR person back after 20 mins to check if they are running late, and I gave them my phone number again. No reply. After an hour I wrote to HR again saying I had to return to work and would like to reschedule the interview. No reply. I called and left a message the next day. Later that night I finally got a response from HR saying that there was a glitch in their application tracking system and that the manager hadn't forwarded the right application. They also said they wouldn't be considering my application at this time. Even though I got an apology in the end, I feel like their choosing to stand me up and ignore me for over 30 hours was very rude and unprofessional. They could have at least cancelled the interview last minute instead of wasting my time.

Interview
The interview process consisted of multiple rounds and was very well organized and structured. Each stage was clearly communicated, and the conversations flowed smoothly from one step to the next. I found the overall experience to be straightforward and comfortable, which made it easy to focus on discussing my background, experience, and interests in the role.
Everyone involved in the process was very friendly and welcoming, which created a positive and professional atmosphere throughout the interviews. The discussions felt natural and collaborative, and I appreciated the opportunity to meet the team and learn more about their work. Overall, the process went very well and left me with a very good impression of the organization and the people involved.
I had an initial conversation with the hiring manager and was then invited to move forward to a panel interview, where I presented some of the research I’ve worked on.

Question 1
One of the questions they asked was what excited me most about the role
Interviewed twice with the same group for different roles. I had a 1hr interview with Hiring manager. Then a 2, 1 hr technical panel interviews. There were no behavioural questions. The questions weren't remotely hard, as the work they were doing was copy-paste my whole career.
I was ghosted both times after the panel interviews which consisted of the same people. I was really excited about the role.
