I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sandstorm Design
Interview
The process consisted of three rounds of virtual interviews over the course of nearly two months. The first round was a 30 minute conversation with the VP of Client Delivery, the second was with the Senior Account Director, and the third was a casual conversation with the CEO. All three interviews were positive and the team was welcoming, engaged, and easy to talk to. The CEO in particular was very personable and the conversation ran over the scheduled time.
After the final round I was told a decision would be made internally with no clear timeline given.
Despite following up multiple times over the following weeks I received no response or update. I eventually discovered through LinkedIn that the role had been filled weeks prior without any communication to candidates still in the pipeline.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Sandstorm Design in Mar 2021
Interview
Introduced to the company through CEO. Subsequently interviewed with Sr. Director of Client Delivery, a product owner, and their VP of BizDev.
Reference checks are taken very seriously. This applied to both when I was the interviewee and an interviewer after joining the team. If the reference checks don't "check out", you're not getting the job.
