Most hiring is done through recommendations from current faculty or staff. There are many more potential faculty than there are positions. Your best bet is to contact the HR person by phone rather than letter. Persistence will get you far. Don't just send a letter and wait for a response.

The school is Catholic and they expect you to be able to bring Benedictine principles into the class room. Be prepared to explain how you will do that.
