Interview
The process took a significantly long time. I had applied in March - April and had to follow up for the HR persistently to get an interview call. It is common at SG to delay as they take their own sweet time to hold the interviews. I had 2 telephonic interviews and one face to face where I had to present my research. They were mostly related to my research and future goals and aspirations

1. Tell me about your research - some technical questions on how the methodology works and the interpretation of the results.
2. If there is a problem in the plant, how will you handle it,
3. Are you ready to go to the production site once or twice a month (which is outskirts of the city).
4. If during a meeting, your supervisor promises to the clients something that you know is not possible, what will you do.
5. Why not go for a postdoctoral fellow and join industry.

Interview
Interview process started with a Telephonic short interview with HR, followed by Two rounds of Technical rounds. First technical round involves presenting the work experience in short ppt. Gap maintained between each round is around one week. Cleared the First technical round.

Describe your work with a short presentation in 15 min?
The HR round was basically a test of our communication skill. They will ask about you degree projects if you are a fresher. This will be correlated with the position you applying.
Applied through online, got a call from HR and interview scheduled within two days, after first round.. the second round was scheduled in the next week in which they asked to presentation about our project work.
