The process started with a phone screen, followed by a Zoom interview, and finally an in-person visit to campus. The job and office (Meelia Center) all sounded like a great match for me. The students seemed great. Ultimately, I found that my values didn't align with the institution's. All's well, I was not given an offer, but I found the entire experience to be a positive one. They selected a candidate with more experience (I was told that this role is considered entry level, so this was confusing, but oh well). When I visited campus, I met with someone from HR. Without being asked, they were very forthcoming about their salary ceiling. My best advice for interviewing here is to really consider if your values align with the Catholic Benedictine values, and whether your politics match their conservative views. Most staff and faculty are alumni and Catholic. They were very nice about this though.
