I was shortlisted for a position to interview for. I passed the telephonic stage of the interview, this lasted for 40 minutes. I was then told that i was shortlisted for the 1st stage of the interview. A time and date were scheduled. Then wishing 24hrs i get an email saying they are not looking to recruit for the position on offer. This was very bizarre, and confusing when a company takes up your time and then decides not to recruit for the position. It was a clear waste of my time. And the efforts i put in. Not really keen to work for this company. If this is the way they go about recruiting candidates. Please don't waste your time, like i did !
