What stood out more is how a hiring decision can be made by someone with limited German proficiency, yet still confidently assess a candidate who is a German citizen with over 10 years of experience in the DACH region in finance and accounting.
In the end, I am actually glad it ended after the first round. It saved time that would otherwise have been spent in a process that did not feel particularly well aligned or well judged from the start. This company will be definitly nothing for me in the future and a look at the company event pictures on linked in confirms that.
