I applied in-person. I interviewed at SaaS Labs (Lucknow) in Mar 2021
Interview
Good but should have knowledge of php, css html and mysql. Basic dsa knowledge will also help you a lot. Be confident. You will get the job. And last but not the least be prepared for any project or your final project idea
I applied through university. I interviewed at SaaS Labs (Ghaziabad) in Oct 2019
Interview
There were total 3 rounds
1st was a written test(30 questions in 45 mint.)
And all questions were from PHP HTML CSS and MySQL
Then technical interview and then Hr.
Hr was a formality
Questions asked in technical interview:
1) Final year project
2) Difference between get and post method
3) what is Ajax
4) what is server and cookies
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SaaS Labs (Noida) in Jul 2019
Interview
In whole interview, not a single question was asked from PHP or Javascript.
After 30 mins of discussion on random topics, I was given details on mail to make a conference product in 4 days.
Who gives applicants to make fully functional product within 4 days and that also after interview. Conference room is their upcoming product and you are giving your candidates to make them after interview.
Being innocent, i made around 90% of this product and gave code and didn't integrated the twilio APIs in the product. They told me on email to integrate twilio apis also. Then i understand they are using their candidates to take advantage.

Thanks for leaving your Interview review.
Commenting on the task, we already have Conference feature in our product (justcall.io - search "justcall conference" - we built & launched that feature 2 years ago) for which you were interviewed. Pre-interview task is given to candidates to understand and learn about candidate's problem solving approach & how comfortable he/she is with kind of APIs/problems that our engineers work with/on on daily basis. Tasks are time bound because there are multiple candidates in the race for same role so speed (time) works as one of the scales to evaluate performance relatively. Hope this clears your doubt around the task & takes away the fear that we as a company are taking some sort of advantage by getting some random tasks done by the candidates as a part of our evalution process.
As a CEO, I consider integrity & transparency as our company's key virtues so I had to jump in here and reply to your feedback to address some of the points you raised which are absolutely in the opposite direction of what reality is.
Having said that, if you have any more feedback or ideas to share to make interview process at SaaS Labs better, feel free to ping me directly at gaurav [at] justcall.io
