Interview
Group interview where they go into some detail of the job and then give you questions to submit one hour after. One on one interview where they go over your role and expectation of the job. Then you fill out a questionnaire after.
I applied online. I interviewed at SVR Marketing (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2021
Interview
Waste of time!! It's a group interview. They are not honest with the job titles, they worked a crazy amount of hours a week and it's just commission. It's a MLM company .
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at SVR Marketing (Arlington, TX) in Feb 2021
Interview
First interview was over Zoom. Wasn’t an interview, it was a sales pitch. Incredibly nonspecific. Didn’t take any questions, didn’t ask any questions. Just had the candidates (about 8-9 of us in the zoom call) fill out a questionnaire to make it to next round.
Second interview: met at a very busy office suite. The company shares space with half a dozen other “marketing groups”. I was introduced to hiring manager. I think her real title is “Corporate Trainer”. We walked outside and 2 blocks down the street to a donut shop to do interview. Lots of vague “direct marketing” talk. Proceeded to ask about my employment and education. Interviewer downplayed my resume (Managed 4-5 people, MBA degree) by saying “most people I’m interviewing are pursuing their PhD. Do you think you might be interested in that?” And then, “most people I’m interviewing manage 50-100 people”. Quite clearly lying and posturing to make me feel like I would be under qualified for this position so that I would then feel grateful when they eventually make an offer. Interviewer was generally rude and a little pushy.
This job isn’t exactly an MLM. But it’s close. It is a 100% commission based sales job where you canvass people at malls or stores to buy Spectrum internet from you.
The interviewer actually drew what I recognize as an MLM on a page of my notepad while she was explaining the org structure.
After letting the interviewer give their pitch for maybe 25 minutes, I politely asked that I be removed from consideration for this “position”.
Stay away.
