What a process! I first had a phone interview, met with recruiter, and then joined the department director for a casual coffee. After that, I had a three-hour session with multiple members of the department as well as members of the leadership team. It was quite vigorous, with a mix of personal and professional questions.

Bizarre in that it took forever as most interviews were scheduled and canceled. Numerous times. Also most interviewers were unprepared and distant or uninterested. Spent most of my time in very nice meeting rooms reading notes about their clients left on the white boards. In hindsight of of this should of been a big heads up about the lack of professionalism. But the money promised was attractive in the short term. Also the promised scope of the role indicated I would have authority to fix things and there seemed plenty to fix
