Phone interview going over background and resume. Moved onto next step in person in Boston office where I met with members of the team (why PE consulting, why Steer Partners, basic behavioral questions, market sizing case)

Why do you want to work in private equity consulting?
1st Round phone interview (behavioral)
2nd Round in-person (includes full case study and separate market sizing exercise)
Potential 3rd round depending on number of candidates
Behavioral interviews are pretty standard in terms of types of questions
I spoke to 3 current team members as part of the interview process. With each person, it started with 20 mins of behavioral questions and then finished with a case.
