The Country Manager appeared disengaged and frequently attended to phone calls throughout the discussion, to the extent that the HR representative had to apologize on his behalf. Several questions were repeated because he seemed distracted by his calls. Additionally, his body language—such as repeatedly nodding impatiently while responding—conveyed noticeable annoyance. Overall, his conduct came across as unprofessional, easily distracted, and not reflective of a strong representation of senior management.
