Interview
Actually I had being hired to work at Incaflex. This initial company was terminated with the death of the owner and replaced by Soretto, which have continued the business.
Thus, the initial hiring process was handled by a head hunter company that invited me to join the process due to the alignment of my profile and the position's requirement.
I did the first interview with the owen and his son in São Paulo, when they checked my resumé against the requirements, illustrating the questions with daily cases from the field.
After six weeks, I was invited to come to the company, in São Carlos, for a second interview. At this time I got all information about the company, segment and products. In this second meeting, I first made a plant tour and then new questions where addressed, picking the plant tour pictures as examples.
Finally, a third interview came over, with my wife, focusing in the city, environmental and family facilities such as school for the kids and leisure alternatives in the city. The reason for it was their recent experience with an executive that left the company after six months due to difficulties with his family. In this meeting, we confirmed the viability of the hiring, salary and benefits and closed the deal.
