      Associate Interview

      29 Feb 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Baltimore, MD
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at SHIFT (Baltimore, MD) in Feb 2016

      Interview

After submitting my resume online, I received a screening call from a talent consultant and filled out a basic questionnaire with more information about my background, goals, and interests. I then spoke on the phone with someone who I'd work with on a daily basis. After we got along well, I came into the office for an in-person interview with a senior partner. I was then assigned a small project to showcase my skills as well as a personality assessment so they knew how I would fit with the team. The final interview was with the CEO and COO and they asked thoughtful questions as well as discussed what my exact role would be. The talent consultant maintained supportive contact throughout the entire process. Everything flowed smoothly and quickly and I wasn't left waiting for results at any point.

      Anonymous interview candidate
      Baltimore, MD
      No offer
      Positive experience

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at SHIFT (Baltimore, MD) in Jun 2017

      Interview

My interview at SHIFT was a very positive experience. They took the time to get to know me, put me at ease, and clearly had a genuine interest not only in the things I had accomplished, but also my motivations for my actions. There was a depth in questioning that showed that they had a clear interest in getting to know me and how well I would fit in with the culture that they have created. Although there was no position available at the time of my interview, they still took the time to mentor and guide me through my career change process and provide me with invaluable advice along the way. They went above and beyond!
