the interview was straightforward. short wait, spoke with MD, she said she would be in touch either way. got no sense either way how it went. She spoke a lot about how the practice works on a day to day basis. she didn't ask me much. informative, short and sweet. she called a day or 2 later and offered me a job for less than 1/2 what i'm paid at my job that's ending. i could not accept that $ and had to decline the offer, although I was excited and thought it would have been a great job. She argued that the amount i wanted is more what a hospital pays for a nurse working evenings and weekends, but that is also not realistic. day shift nurses make $50/hr, evening $56, NOC $62 in the same county (Marin) where this job is located. I am bummed that it worked out this way, and honestly baffled as to how she finds RNs to work for what she offered me. super weird.
