(note: interview was with IHS Markit) I'd chatted on the phone with 4 different people discussing four possible roles. In the week between the phone calls and the in person interview I emailed all four points of contact seeking clarification as to what role was going to be discussed. I never received a response. When I came in for the in-person they they proceeded to start asking me about a 5th role that wasn't even remotely relevant to my background. I stopped them within 5 minutes, asked them about the four roles I'd discussed over the phone, they looked confused and that was the end of the interview.
