"Not an Interview – Just a Sales Pitch"
The RM Agency’s so-called interview process was anything but an interview. It was essentially a group sales funnel. About 15 people were on the Zoom call, led by someone standing in front of a tropical-themed backdrop, pitching why we should become agents for the company.
To be fair, I don’t mind a presentation that highlights the benefits of working for a company—but calling this an interview is misleading. It felt disingenuous and shallow, especially given how many insurance agencies are actively reaching out to candidates through LinkedIn and other platforms.
This approach lacked transparency and left a bad impression.
