I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Rural King (Decatur, IL)
Interview
Once you took in an application they would do an informal interview. They would then pass it up to the next person who then called me in for a second interview which was about what I expected. All in all it was a pretty normal process. They asked a few open ended questions but mostly yes or no questions.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Rural King (Huntsville, AL) in Feb 2025
Interview
Kaitlin the HR Lead was nice and the process went well with her. Kaitlin was very friendly, compassionate, and empathetic. She is one of the strongest if not THE strongest leader at the store

Question 1
Why do you think you would be a good fit at Rural King ?
Exactly what you'd expect for a mediocre cashier job, if you can show up they'll hire you. They just need bodies in places to stock merchandise and run the registers. The "HR" person was very rushed and just tried to get me in as quickly as possible.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Rural King in Jun 2021
Interview
There were two interviews. The first interview was over the phone and the interviewer was very friendly and informative. Asked basic interview questions. The second one was a day later and in-person. He asked more scenario-based questions.
