I had an extremely disheartening experience with Ruder Finn India during their hiring process for the PR Manager position. I went through multiple rounds of interviews, shared all required documents after being told I was selected, and then was abruptly informed that the position was “on hold.”
After weeks of silence, I was contacted again and asked to attend another round of interviews — this time virtually — only to be declined once more. Despite this, they later called me for an in-person interview, just after I had recovered from a serious accident.
This repeated call-backs, ghosting, and final rejection without a clear explanation shows a lack of empathy and professionalism. As a communications professional with 5 years of experience, I value time, transparency, and respectful engagement — none of which were shown in this process.
I hope the company reflects on the importance of treating candidates with basic dignity and clarity.
