I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at RoviSys (Aurora, OH) in Jun 2009
Interview
After interviewing with 10 people for 4 hours I was called back on a later day because the right people had not been around the first time I interviewed. Came back second day and talked with another 6 people taking another 3 hours. After all this I received an email stating that I was not a fit for the company. After inquiring why that was so that I may use the feedback to better myself I was told there was no real reason, I just wasn't a fit.
The interview process was straightforward, no technical interview. Invited to location for lunch with other interviewees and did non-technical questions about self and company. Interesting employees and interesting company. Does automated manufacturing and systems engineering as well.
I had a 90-minute interview divided into three separate sessions with different people from various sectors of the company. Each session lasted between 20-30 minutes and focused on high-level questions rather than technical deep dives. The interviewers primarily assessed my background, experience, and problem-solving approach. Overall, the process was structured, conversational, and gave insight into different aspects of the company. Also I was waiting for 20 minutes because they had problem with zoom.
