I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ross Stores (New York, NY) in Mar 2023
Interview
Initial call with recruiter, very chill. Then, 3 interviews with buyers on different teams from 8 am - around 1 pm. It’s an all day thing. Be prepared for anything.

Question 1
Q: Have you ever been in a Ross? Q: When is a time you have had to work in a team, what was your role, and how did you resolve conflict? Q: Why do you want to work in off-price buying?
inpersonal, recruiter seemed like she did not want to be there, loud and noisy background. QUick interview boring behavioral questions. We reviewed my resume. Thats reall all. Werid skills tests and excel tests.

Interview
I went through and introduction interview, and was told that the main team lead was on vacation, but would go through formal interviews once they got back. I sent multiple emails in the coming month, even just to get an official NO. The job is still posted and I have never been contacted again.

Question 1
Why do you think you would be a good fit for this role?
The interview went ok but they never closed the loop with me/didn't tell me that they weren't going to proceed with me as a candidate. She asked me about the salary I wanted and seemed taken aback by what I asked for even though I don't think it was unreasonable.
