Two rounds of interviewing, with both the department manager and the person who would be a direct supervisor. The questions were fairly straightforward, a mix of previous experience and overall outlook on publishing.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rosen Publishing (New York, NY) in Feb 2017
Interview
Interviewed with Marketing Coordinator for first interview, then came in for an interview with their Marketing Director two weeks later. The second interview seemed tedious and unnecessary, as I was asked essentially the same questions on both occasions. It seemed as though they could have communicated with each other better beforehand to have been more prepared.
Both interviews went well, and was told that they really liked me and my ideas. I was also informed that I would have an answer in two days, but did not hear back until a week had passed. I was very disappointed not to have been given an offer, and felt as though they gave me a sense of false hope.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Rosen Publishing in Apr 2012
Interview
basic meet and greet with typical "what are you looking for" "what experience do you have," type questions. Nothing really sticks out in my mind. I think the turn over rate at this company is always happening that they don't even bother to try and find people who may stay.
