The interview was just STAR questions, the whole interview was basically read straight from a paper booklet with no deviation. Very poker faced interview. They had no interest in asking any questions on my technical or research abilities. Not sure i was even in consideration as i got asked what my future plans in applying elsewhere were when being escorted out of the site. I wasnt even emailed about being turned down, I had to go on the website and look at the status after 4 weeks of waiting after the interview to find out. I will not be applying here again. A complete and utter waste of 5 months of my time.

I interviewed at Rolls-Royce
Interview
The hiring manager kindly set up a video call to tell me more about the role, and we agreed I’d send my CV, which I did. A couple of months later, I heard from a talent acquisition manager who seemed new to the team, asking for my availability for an interview. I replied promptly but unfortunately didn’t get a response after that, even after following up. It felt a bit like a missed connection, and I hope the team can improve communication in the future.

They asked about my background and experience and allowed me to ask questions.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rolls-Royce (Derby, England) in Sept 2018
Interview
Comprehensive and intense but fair, they tested my knowledge of the research challenge and then asked me to propose solutions. They also asked for a technical presentation on work I had done previously.
