Interview Experience at Rockwell Automation
The interview process at Rockwell was lengthy and, unfortunately, very frustrating. It started with a conversation with the recruiter, which went smoothly. I was then moved forward to speak with the interim manager. During this interview, he repeatedly nodded or shook his head in a way that implied my answers were wrong—even before I finished speaking. This behavior continued throughout the interview and made the entire experience feel uncomfortable and dismissive.
The final stage was a panel interview with three individuals, lasting over an hour. They asked a range of questions, including whether I was capable of communicating effectively with directors and higher-level management. While I have extensive experience in that area, the tone of the question—and the interview overall—felt condescending.
Overall, I left the process feeling disrespected and humiliated. It’s disappointing when a company with such a strong reputation allows candidates to go through an experience like this.
