I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rocketer (Manchester City Centre, England) in Jun 2019
Interview
It was an interesting interview approach because Dan (Operations Director @ Rocketer) found me on Linkedin and invited me over for a chat because he liked my profile and he was looking for people that wanted to grow within the role (Digital Marketing was a new field for me since I'm coming from finance and Marketing areas).
After receiving a lot of "no's" from opportunities I've applied on Indeed (most of the time I didn't even get an answer) I was really surprised and didn't know what to expect from that.
Dan sounded like a really straightforward and transparent person and I think we hit it off just fine because we have a similar approach with regards to that.
After our initial conversation, he called me over a week (or so) later to do an Excel test (pivot tables, formulas, sorting, charts, etc.) and an exercise involving task prioritization.
It was really very straightforward process and basically what they were looking for was someone with a basic skill set that would enable them to execute the daily tasks and, as important as that, you also needed to be approachable enough and ok talking to clients over the phone besides having a strong desire to learn and grow
