I was reached out by a recruiter from Roblox on LinkedIn, then had a phone call with him to learn about the company and position. After I passed the Karat coding phone interview, I had a chat with the hiring manager over the phone, which is mostly me asking the manager questions about the team and company. Later, I received a rejection email saying "We do not currently have a role that matches your skills and experience. " The interview process is such a waste of time. I wish they would have let me know earlier to save both sides' time if there is no match, especially after I clearly explained my skills and experience during the initial phone call the recruiter. I sent a follow up email to the recruiter to ask why I got rejected and never received a reply.
