Applied. Call was scheduled the first week. The recruiter running the process was great and kept me in the loop, prepped, etc the best she could. this is something i do as a recruiter and emphasize candidate experience and they were very high touch. Had several rounds with team members who were high energy and seemed to love their jobs at Robinhood. Ultimately I was not selected, but unlike most big tech companies, they DIDNT send a standard rejection letter and the recruiter scheduled time to discuss the decision with me. Even though the feedback was vague at best (my location probably had something to do with it), I respected them for taking the time to let me know as many places talk about candidate experience, but dont carry it out. Job well done! Seems like a great team, fun place to work and hopefully they hire people to improve the app and expand their service offerings as its very basic and could use more product offerings.

Wanted me to break my current employment agreement by sharing confidential information. They asked me to share my current company’s compensation bands for engineers and our closing strategy against Robinhood. Needless to say, I declined and it made for an awkward rest of the onsite interview.

A recruiter reached out to set up an a first round interview and asked me to provide some times via their system. I provided times on 3 different occasions and followed up with the recruiter but never once heard back from them.lol, ghosted before anything even started.
If anyone at Robinhood actually reads this here’s an FYI; let your recruiters know to at least fill out the email templates, it looks like mine was just sent off without even being looked at.
This is also in your template, “Our team is here to enable an inclusive and welcoming interview experience for all candidates” this experience was not inclusive or welcoming it was underwhelming.
