Roberts & Dybdahl still uses the paper application and resume process. Response was extremely quick. Submitted application on a Monday and received initial phone interview on Wednesday. Invited for an in-person 2nd interview with Operations Manager the following Monday.
Traditional one-on-one interview with Operations Manager. Very informal and laid back interview process. Answered various questions form the Operations Manager. He explained the job in great detail. Took a tour of the facility and met the employees. Lasted approximately one hour. The manger thanked me coming in and said he would stay in contact after considering my application along with HR in Omaha Nebraska.
Less than a week later was invited to take a DOT physical examination and drug screen. Once all results were available, the Operations Manager contacted me again with a tentative job offer. My driving and employment history were the last items needing to be turned in to R&D before an initial start date could be provided.
Overall, the entire process lasted approximately 2 1/2- 3 weeks in total.
