The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Robert Half in Aug 2008
Interview
Prior to the interview there was a few assessment tests that I had to complete (Excel, etc). These were fairly easy if you've ever used the program before. My 1 on 1 interview was more about fit with the client and some about my past experience. After I was sent to the client, the process took forever and when a personal matter came up they did not want to negotiate the start date. However, the client undestood my person matter and everything worked out fine.
I interviewed at Robert Half (Westlake Village, Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
First interview to work for Robert Half was simple and smooth. The recruiter gather my information and said will be in touch. I sent a follow up email and I got crickets. 3 weeks later the direct hire department reached me out and said your profile and assessment look good, I don’t know why we didn’t hire you.

Walk me through your resume
Good, talked through role and skills, talked about what I would have to do and my background. Told me about commission package and area I’d be working in which was good
The interview process was straightforward and lasted about 20 minutes. It felt more like an introductory conversation rather than a formal technical interview. No technical or case questions were asked.
