I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (Houston, TX) in Nov 2010
Interview
Interview was very lengthy. Consisted of several tests and phone interviews before being called on-site. Did more tests on-site, then had three 1-on-1 interviews with a developer, the VP of Systems Development, and the Director of Systems Development. People seemed nice and interview was pretty basic. 1-2 weeks later got an offer for $40,000, my absolute minimum. Counter-offered at $45,000. Thought it wasn't unreasonable, since it is still way below industry average, and my original request was $50,000. However, after the counter-offer they decided to rescind the offer altogether. Not given any explanation. I would not recommend counter-offering.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (Houston, TX) in Jun 2025
Interview
Heard from a recruitment member via email upon applying. Following a response confirming I wanted to continue with the application, I was given an "IQ" assessment to finish. Upon scoring well and within the time frame we were asked to complete a skills assessment to match us to our supposed "dream placement". After completing all of these assessments, the company did not reach out for more than a week after which they finally sent a short rejection email with no feedback or information. Reviews on other platforms support this type of response, seemingly typical behavior.
