Many of the “Interview Reviews” here suck, so I’m going to walk you down my entire process step by step. Application Submission So, first thing first, you’re going to need to finish all 4 hours of the assessment. During the assessment don’t expect to finish all of the questions, the assessment doesn’t seem to be designed to be completed. If you do good enough on the assessment, they will want you to take the assessment while proctored when they call you in for an interview. First Interview I was contacted by the recruiter 2 weeks after submission of my assessment. They ask you to pick a day for an “in person” interview. Let’s walk through this step by step. I came in and the front desk recruiter called me in to take a proctored exam, I have no idea what happens if you don’t take it proctored, so this will be all assuming you have to take a proctored exam. The exam is just the math, letters and shapes section from the 4 hour assessment again. After the exam is complete I walk into a room and sit down to skype call a recruiter. The questions are about why you want this position, about yourself and basic interview questions. NOTHING TECHNICAL. After this interview I was told to fill out a form about myself, and then told to take a questionnaire on my views on smoking, drugs, stealing and stuff. After this I was immediately told by my recruiter that they want me to take the second interview right now. The VP of software development was not there so they emailed me about a week later to schedule that interview. Second Interview This part was different, I first met with the VP and we talked for about 45 minutes about my past projects I’ve worked on and my passion for computer science. This was an enjoyable conversation, he went through my resume going through my skills, job and projects asking about each individual one. This is supposed it be the technical interview, but it seemed to be more of us just talking about CS. After this I met with 2 other managers who wanted to find a more niche aspect of my CS knowledge. Following this I was told to fill out my background check info and drug test. Final Steps I was finally contact 2 months after my initial application date with the final offer, which I took.
