      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Revolut (Skelmersdale, England) in Jan 2021

      Interview

I read all the bad reviews in here but I said I would give it a go... First screening with the recruiter, he was late 6 min. He booked me in for an interview and wanted to prepare me beforehand. He booked me in 2 days before the interview and he never showed up. He then emailed me saying he had issues with the internet so he booked me in for 30min later and he was again late 10 min! On the actual interview, I was interviewed by a current employee who works on the same position I was applying for. For the first 15min I literally couldn’t finish a full sentence. There were times I inhaled and interrupted me before I ever started talking! It was so rude and it through my structure out of the window. He kept apologising but he carried on doing it! It was frustrating and I just lost interest here and there. If they hired me I would have to work with that guy! Imagine getting this in a meeting! I understand the logic behind being using current employees to interview people but there is a reason why they are engineers or work in IT and not HR. Make sure they know how to interview first before you actually put them down for it. He worked with the company for just 4 months as a process engineer, how can he possibly know how to interview people? I understand that my answers might not have given him all the information he needed but he could have gathered the questions and asked them in the end or at least at the end if the sentence!

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Revolut (London, England) in Oct 2020

      Interview

The application process is 6 stages in total and is quite long and rigorous. At the point I was rejected 1 month had passed since applying. 1. CV + Cover Letter (passed) 2. HackerRank online test (passed) 3. Interview with recruiter (passed) 4. Interview with Business Process Engineer (passed) 5. Hometask assignment (rejected) 6. Interview with management (didn't make it to this stage) Recruitment was very responsive and communicative throughout and I was impressed by their professionalism and approach. You get detailed feedback at each stage. Tips for the hometask: - The hometask is to design and document a process using JIRA, confluence, and SQL. You are expected to learn and understand the software in detail in 1 week. - The problem statement is very vague and high level, and you will be advised to keep it lean, simple and not to overcomplicate - However, I was rejected for hitting all the key points but not providing enough detail. So take their advice with a pinch of salt. Recommend to provide a lot of attachments to your presentation justifying every decision in detail.

      Question 1

Hometask: Design a process in Jira, following the process design framework established by the Process Engineering team.
